Curb appeal is your only chance to make a positive impact on buyers from a street perspective. The good and bad features that jump out at buyers create their initial thoughts about your home and how you perform home's regular maintenance. Knowing this assists us in determining what we can do to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home isn't the best it can look on the outside with touched up paint and colorful garden plants we'll need to tackle those issues. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and increase your home's final selling price.

Make yourself at home...
Could a buyer see themselves enjoying game night in your living room, unwinding in your master bedroom or getting work done in your home office? We want your house to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of ease. We'll help you accomplish this by suggesting changes that enhance your home's features. We'll suggest that you take away anything that gives the look of clutter. Surface areas like tables, desks and counters should be free and clear. Knickknacks, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' artwork should get moved out of sight. You need to "generalize" the home so buyers can envision it as their new house.
We know exactly where a room's best characteristics are and how to highlight them. We'll note the pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need a fresh coat of paint, rugs needing to be changed, fixtures that could use polishing, and any other improvement that can inexpensively be made to positively impact the sale.
We'll ensure your home is neutral and that it's friendly, avoiding "offensive" or "too-bright" hues on the walls and furniture. And if none of your belongings are there, you can think about renting furnishings. The goal is for your house to look homey as opposed to empty.

Setting the Stage
At every showing, we want to engage the buyer's senses. Dark living areas can be a real mood killer, so we'll do things like part the curtains and reduce shadows where needed to show off your house. Together we'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music to listen to while guests experience your home and ensure a pleasing fragrance circulates throughout your house. We'll include cozy-looking throws, and throw pillows on your couch and bedding. Buyers should feel like your current house has the potential to be.
